New Install on Disney Wonder

CSC/DVS continues to build on its reputation as “the leader” in large TVRO antenna arrays for the cruise industry, with an exciting new contract for Disney Wonder.

The project entails the engineering and installation of a complete TVRO turn-key solution, which includes a SeaTel 3.6 meter antenna and fiber optic TX/RX system.

This cutting edge solution is designed for low and high powered satellites transmitting to the vessel, therefore offering a wide range of flexibility to Disney’s programming choices.   “In line with providing extended flexibility, we designed this antenna solution with the ability of receiving all known satellites currently working in the geostationary Clarke belt, making Disney Wonder a worldwide traveler,” states Dino Marikos, DVS’s Director of Marine Operations.

“Disney Cruises is a valuable client who counts on our AV systems integration and unsurpassed support to keep their passengers happy. This project is another exciting step in our relationship and we believe the future is very bright between our companies,” states Kathy McGovern, Executive VP of CSC.
